Sue’s Turkey Drive is a community-driven initiative dedicated to providing Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Since its inception, it has grown to support thousands of individuals through generous donations, sponsorships, and volunteers.
We come together as one community taking care of each other. Our mission is to bring warmth and nourishment to as many households as possible, ensuring that no family goes without a Thanksgiving meal.

Sue’s Turkey Drive began when Anne Jordan reached out to Sue Flaherty, knowing her prior experience with a similar event. Together, with Sydney Kovis and Alisha Crawford, they formed Cherrymoor Charities to facilitate the turkey drive, ensuring its long-term success and impact.
What started as a small initiative has since grown into a major community-driven effort to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need.Through the support of sponsors, volunteers, and donors, Sue’s Turkey Drive has expanded its reach, feeding thousands of families each year.
The event is more than just a meal distribution—it brings the community together, fostering generosity, unity, and the spirit of giving. Year after year, the initiative continues to grow, ensuring that no family in the community goes without a warm Thanksgiving meal.
